Hi, I’m Jan, and this is my good friend Gratitude. She and I have been growing up together for years now. It’s been quite a winding journey already. And the journey continues.
A few new friends have joined in on our fun adventures, Detective Why Bother; Ready, Steady, Fredy; and Epithany are some recent new additions to our company of creative adventurers. We’d love for you to join in on this adventure, too. We’re looking forward to becoming good friends and trail buddies. So grab your favorite beverage and enjoy looking around. Like what you see and want even more fun inspiration? You can sign up for Gratitude’s eLetter to stay in touch.
I asked Gratitude what she thought we should share first. She suggested our readers might be interest in seeing some of the things going on behind the scenes.
Bringing Gratitude to Life
In this pic I’m putting the last bit of watercolor on Gratitude’s favorite hat. When that is done I’ll scan the image and upload it into Photoshop where the rest of the magic often happens.
Blowing Possibility Bubbles
This is one of the images featured in the book, Gratitude’s Journey. We will begin taking pre-orders soon, so stay tuned for that announcement.
Flow With Life’s Current
The pic below is one of the possible images for an inspiration deck idea Gratitude and I’ve been playing with called Gratitude Snacks.™ We’ll be sharing more about this as we go along and the idea develops.
A HeART Step Which Asks “What Are You Attracting?”
What is a HeART Step™? These are the fun pages we are introducing in the book Gratitude’s Journey where you get to play along with Gratitude. It’s where we invite you to journey into your own inner and outer landscape, explore new ideas and discover significant ahas. They are kind of like an art journaling starter page; a visual prompt for you to play with. And while we give you some initial ideas about how to play with each page, there are an infinite number of ways each of these pages can be played with. That’s part of the fun and the creative challenge. Do you have to be artistic or creative? Well, we believe everyone is, but no these don’t require any special skill or knowledge.
This series of images below is an example of how I played with one of the heART steps: it’s a weedy patch, which I then transformed and cultivated into a beautiful affirmation mandala flower garden. My, oh my! It was quite eye-opening for me. Yep, I’m in the midst of my own journey, too, learning something new and exciting every step of the way. I’m looking forward to learning and sharing with you along the way.
I’m so excited to be actually posting in here. I am so proud of you, Jan. Now that you’re site is open, can we a play “Ticket to Ride” ? I love you !!!!!
